She got what she
wanted last night, hot chocolate and sandwiches in the snow cage when it was
dark outside. We were all very grateful for the idea. We could hear the wind in
the high spruces outside but it was calm and cosy where we sat close to each other.
The cave is so large
so we can stand in it now.
Preparing one of the candle shelves ...
but there has been much snow to shovel out.

I think this is such fun! My kids would LOVE having hot chocolate in a snow cave! I also liked the photos from your previous post about the old barn you visited. Lovely structure. :)
