Holliday is over

Only one day left now and than it will be a year to the next summer Holliday! But I will be at home my first day "at work" as we're going to be here in my house. We're about twenty persons so I'm hoping for a sunny weather so we can be sitting out in the garden.

I've really enjoyed this summer. It's been a lot of work with the house as changing windows, painting and gardering, but also a lot of the time with the family.

I'm not so found of Coca Cola but when there was a really hot day I just had to take a glass with much of ice and it tasted really good. But the cold shower wasn't bad either....

A meeting

Spending some days out of town now and when I go for a walk to the the small store in the village I stop for a meeting with this lady. She didn't say so much but we had some "eye contact", which could say more than words...

Heaven is a place on earth

I always listen to the radio when I do my morning run along the river. When I got back to the house I picked some strawberries, sat down on the bench and yes, I was shore that it was true;

- Heaven is a place on earth!

Swedish summer

My return to blog life has also ment that I allow myself to make the posts directly from the mobile. Maybe that will mean more misstakes with the spelling but sometimes I've been missing the photos that are more spontaneous. So this post is a result of "my new reporting blogging".

It's a typical Swedish summer day, we're relaxing on the porch and it's warm and lovely but when a cloud cover the sun it's a little bit chilly.

The light at midnight

Half an hour before midnight, and I should be sleeping now but the light outside is so beautiful that I just want to stay up all night.

My own princess

There's a wedding today in Stockholm as the Princess Madeleine of Sweden and the New York banker Christopher O'Neil have married. It was very beautiful wedding and the her dress was created by the Italian designer Valentino Garvani. As he was occupied making that dress, we had to "create" my daughters dress for the prom by our selves...

 I have had a photo with the fabrics on the blog and wrote a few lines. Some of you asked me to show it when it's ready so now I proudly present the finished project which was a team-work with me, my daughter and my sister.

My daughter wanted this adventure to be something very special, but not too expensive, so I made the hairstyle and she put on makeup. She was very pleased and enjoyed the whole evening.

I was very touched when they got to the event as she also wanted her brother (who loves old American cars!) to sit beside the owner of the car.
