Enough is enough

No more tears with Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand (click to listen)
Born in the sixties, grew up in the seventies - I didn't keep away from the great Disco era, and I never wanted to. Even though I remember my parents point of view about it. They thought it was a strange dance where you stood in front of your dancing partner making moves without touching each other. They grew up with the foxtrot and jive and I've also learned that which am glad for. But the disco was something special and all the wonderful music.....

Barbara Streisand has followed me from the disco to the musicals and i love her voice and I understand that she was a shocked  and sad about the news of Donna Summers  death.

I grew up in the 50's and 60's and STILL loved Donna Summer. I hit that disco scene in the 70's and have many memories of hearing "Last Dance" played as a signal the night was ending and the place was closing! I loved it. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Donna, it came as a surprise as I wasn't aware that she was having health issues. I've never been a huge fan of Barbra, but appreciate her enormous talents. the two of them together were awesome.
happy day to you Ella.

I like it all. Like they say, there's only two kinds of music... good music and bad music.

I like what Don says. I was born in 69 so kind of was too young for disco, but I do remember an album I had called Mickey Mouse Disco!
