This post is a greeting to Ms Becky and her post where she had a wonderful photo with a seed catkin (I don't know if that's the correct word). She's a very good photographer and blog friend! She always have many comments to her posts and I also wrote a comment about the maple:
Last week on my walk along the river I found them and asked my daughter to help me. I'm glad that she accepted her mothers strange ideas and also said that I could show it on my blog.

Ha ha - your daughter is a good sport!!
Kind of funny that I'm in Canada in an area where there are no maple trees but what I remember as a child was throwing up the seed pods and having them helicopter down.
Nice nose extension!
oh Ella. I hug you across the miles.
no heart is more dear than your own.
I'm happy that we share the joy of experiencing a maple tree, and that your daughter has joined in the fun also. thank you always for your kind comments. wishing you much joy in your week.
OH Ella how funny! Maple trees are one of our most common trees here...we call the seed pods..."helicopters" as they whirl around as they go through the air! We will have to try to GLUE them to our noses too!
Your daughter is a good sport and I LOVE her freckles!!! LOVELY!
Ha, we did that as kids as well! And we also helicoptered them. The photo of your daughter is wonderful - as Patty said, she's a good sport.
