It became a "Friday Entertainment" when the potatoes were going down in the land. It was a beautiful night even if it was a bit cold and we were pleased that we hadn't planed to do this on Saturday because of all the rain we got than.
Took this photo just before midnight when the mist swept across the lake. We have now started the time of the year when it's light both day and night.
The rain filled the lake but also the boat and our cape almost became an island again like it was two weeks ago when the spring flood was worst.
I didn't plan this but all writing about sun and rain reminds me of an old song that many jazz-singers have done but my favorite is with Monica Zetterlund and Bill Evans, Come rain or come shine.

I love each and every one of these photos. That's a whole lot of potatoes to plant, but there's nothing as delicious as a freshly-dug potato. The mist on the water is lovely, but my favorite shot is the boat. You always turn me on to something, I love that about my visits to your blog. (the tune). The jazz put a spring in my step this early Monday morning.
happy week to you Ella. How magical to have light both day and night.
You live in such a beautiful place and you capture it so well in your photographs!
Light both day and night. This is very strange to me...do you sleep well? I love the photo of the boat...it is just charming.
oooo... that mist on the lake!! and then finding out it was taken just before midnight... very special indeed. I love seeing the little snippets of your life over there across the ocean!!
I love your beautiful long nights.
I love the boat picutre, hope it didn't do too much damage though!.. It's seems so wierd to have daylight in the night!
