Skiing along the shore to the lake house. It's blowing and a little chilly but that makes it even more cosy when I get inside and put some more wood in the stove. We're spending some days here, like so many years before on "sport holiday". Hopefully we will have many wonderful moments outside and maybe the sun will join us too!

What a perfect holiday and beautiful wood stove. It looks very inviting and cheerful. you've the ideal spot for lounging too, right there in front of it. looks as though you've had loads of snow too. we got clobbered here again yesterday. after a mild/dry winter so far we have now surpassed our average snowfall amount for the season. after last summer's drought this is welcome. though my skis are in storage I get plenty of exercise by way of my snow shovel. wishing you a happy sport holiday Ella. take care now.
